Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) will Train 690 Principals of Public Sectors Colleges of Punjab

LAHORE: Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) would train 690 principals of public sector colleges of Punjab.

Punjab Higher Education Minister Zakia Shahnawaz would be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony that would be held at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) today (Tuesday).

PHEC Chairman Dr Nizamuddin and Punjab Higher Education Department Secretary Irfan Ali would jointly chair the inauguration ceremony of the principals’ training programme.

The first phase of five days training programme would be held from July 12-16. During the first phase of the programme, principals of 150 colleges from the districts of Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nanakana Sahib, Okara and Kasur would be given training. UHS Vice Chancellor Major Gen (r) Muhammad Aslam, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) VC Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and University of Education VC Dr Raufe Azam would also participate in the ceremony.
