ALFALAH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2015-16

Alfalah Scholarship Scheme has invited applications for brilliant and deserving students for grant of merit and need base scholarships. Such deserving and needy students, who want to get higher education and they have got above than 70% marks in their last board exam are eligible to apply for scholarships. Required marks for minorities student are 60%. You can apply from 1st August 2015 till 31 October 2015, but professional students of MBBS/BDS and BE can apply up to 30th November 2015. Application forms are available on www.alfalahss.org.

How to Apply For Alfalah Scholarship Scheme?

Candidates who are eligible can download the application form from the above mentioned website. Send the dully filled form attested by head of your institution with all required documents. You can also call on 053-7531630 for requesting the organization to send you form by post. You may also write a letter on the below given address for application form. After an independent inquiry about the financial condition of applicant, executive committee will take decision about each individual case. Students may be called for interview, if needed. Final decision is taken maximum in one month if the required documents are provided with application.

Due to shortage of funds only most needy students are selected. Academic achievements, family’s income and number of dependents in the family are considered for selection purpose. Students of intermediate, DAE, Graduation/Post Graduation and professional Degrees are eligible to apply. It is expected from scholarship winners that they will also sponsor at least one student in future after getting a job.

Eligible Students

1. Regular students of government institutes/registered/recognized institutes
2. Having more than 70% marks in their last board exam. Minority students with 60% can apply.
3. Orphans
4. Internally displaced persons and earthquake affected areas
5· Unfortunate/underprivileged people facing acute financial problems

Ineligibility

1-Students of PhD, M.Phil, LLM, Religious & Cultural studies
2-Students of distance learning universities like VU and AIOU
3-StudeNts of lavish institutes
4-Studying abroad
5-Candidates who have enrolled on self finance base
6-Non deserving applicants
7- Candidates who are receiving scholarship from any other public or private organization.
