M.A & M.Sc Exams to Start from 10th September

After making several changes, the Emerson College Multan finally released a timetable for the M.A & M.Sc exams on its notice board on monday. The exams are now scheduled to begin from September 10.

The semester 4 exams were rescheduled several times. It was finally decided that the exams would be held from September 10.

According to the new time table, the exams will begin on September 10 and end on September 19, skipping dates on which the others exams are being held. On some of the other exam dates, certain non-compulsory papers have been scheduled. Around 650 students will appear for the exam.
“We have kept non-compulsory papers on the dates of  M.A & M.Sc final exams, but no other exams have been scheduled on days when these exams are being held,” said Khalid Balouch, controller of examinations.

Earlier, the college had decided not to hold exams on august 14,15 and 19, thus skipping the dates of 14th august. However, several colleges were unhappy with this decision as many colleges are being used as polling and counting centers. Later, it was decided that all exams would be postponed to September 10, and minor exams scheduled in the end of September, depending on the number of students appearing for them. “All these adjustments will ensure smoother conduct of exams,” said Prof. Khalid Balouch.

The college has scheduled theses exams till 19th September due to Eid vacations. 

Most exams for the BS degree have remained untouched and will begin from October 1, while other exams like BS 1st semester will begin from November 5.
